Rotate Photos
Image metadata can help to rotate images efficiently. Most devices save photo orientation in EXIF metadata, and the operating systems and photo viewers use this data to show the photo the right way up. Instead of re-drawing the image another way up, and losing quality at every JPEG conversion, it's best to rotate images simply by changing the orientation in EXIF.
Tonfotos uses this method to rotate JPEG and TIFF images without loss of quality. Press CtrlR, select Photo > Rotate Clockwise, or right-click selected photos and select Rotate Clockwise to rotate them clockwise. Press CtrlShiftR, select Photo > Rotate Anticlockwise, or right-click selected photos and select Rotate Anticlockwise to rotate them anticlockwise.
