Tonfotos Documentation

Tonfotos is a powerful tool for organizing your photo library. Import new photos from all possible sources, name people on photos, store info about them, and create meaningful collections without moving photos around.

First steps

To get started with cataloging your library:

1. Add folders with photos to library locations and wait for Tonfotos to index them. For large libraries, initial indexing may take a lot of time.
2. Remove duplicates. This step should come before adding tags, editing metadata, or other modifications.
3. Name the people found in your photos.
